7 ways you can help

 

If this ministry has struck a cord in you heart there are a number of ways in which you can help if that is what you would like to do.

 

1. Prayer

Without the Lord's will we are striving aimlessly without a spiritual reward.

Link this website to yours (linking its mirror websites on top of that would be too kind of you but thanks a lot) and share what this website is about with your friends and others who are close to you and let us know about it. Encouragement goes a long way and that's both ways.

 

3. Donations

Donations are more than welcome. The funds will first go into the personal PayPal account of Joep de Kraker, the founder of Local Body of Christ. Funds will be used for Bible study materials, travel expenses, livelyhood expenses, visa expenses, language study, website maintenance, business cards and other things all directly related towards this ministry. As soon as other people will start to do this ministry themselves as the Lord provides, these funds will be used too for their ministry.

 

 

4. Translation

Helping to translate this website in other languages. The aim is that this website can be read by everybody in his/her own language. Google Translations go a long and quite decent way but the quality can certainly be better and the list of languages can certainly grow too.

 

5. Suggesting a link

The page Home is a deliberate effort to raise awareness among christians about all kinds of subjects and find Truth through respect and understanding of each his/her opinion together with boldness and humbleness. Jesus is the Truth, so it's definitely worth the search.

 

6. Join the ministry

The world is a big place. Too big for one person to go everywhere. Many people are needed to join this ministry. For some it will be a full-time commitment. For many others it will be a part-time commitment which they can just do in their spare-time within their own village, town or city or elsewhere during holiday. A minimum of one week working full-time is expected to be necessary in order to go into a locality and do a meaningful ministry towards the Local Body of Christ.

The Search Engines like to find things relative to their search. This website is about the Local Body of Christ also known as the Local Church, The Local Bride of Christ or the Kingdom of Heaven. The Local Church isn't of course the same thing as the Church but it's mainly a matter of the word 'local'. Without the word 'local' The Local Church isn't any bit different from the Church, also known as the Body of Christ, The Bride of Christ or the Kingdom of Heaven. Various names for the same thing. Why? The Lord likes diversity for one thing. However each title shows something different about the Local Church. For example the Local Church is something which is readily understood by all kinds of people. They know or at least think to know what the Church is. Mostly they think of a building but nevertheless when you talk about the Local Church they still can easily relate to that term. However when you talk about the Local Bride of Christ people can start to look real foggy at you. They understand the separate words 'local', 'Bride (but why in capitals?) and Christ. They do understand why Christ is in capitals. However the term Bride of Christ doesn't mean a lot to many people. That's even less so with the Local Bride of Christ. But there is hope. As soon as somebody understands what the Bride of Christ is, they also tend to understand what the Local Bride of Christ is. What about the Kingdom of Heaven? Jesus preached an awful lot about that. He mentioned the Kingdom of Heaven several times. Many parables talk about the Kingdom of Heaven. Why don't those parables talk about the Local Church or about the Local Bride of Christ or even the Local Body of Christ? For a start: He generally talks about the Church worldwide, so that would mean that those parables could have talked about the Church, the Bride of Christ or the Body of Christ. But neither is the case. He mostly talks about the Kingdom of Heaven. Whether you write that like this 'kingdom-of-heaven' or like this 'kingdom of heaven' doesn't make an awful lot of difference. But back to the term Kingdom of God. Well, that was a little type mistake. I wanted to say: Kingdom of Heaven. What does that term mean to most people? Surprisingly that term gets people to think about a certain movie. Yes, a movie called Kingdom of Heaven. Can you imagine? Why would people think with the term Kingdom of Heaven of the movie called Kingdom of Heaven? What kind of chap or for that matter a lady decided to make a movie called: Kingdom of Heaven? Well, the movie Kingdom of Heaven has done well. So that's probably part of the reason. When a certain movie does well, like the movie Kingdom of Heaven does, well, then people have liked that movie and for the maker the movie Kingdom of Heaven made a good deal of money for them. But Jesus isn't talking about money when He talks about the Kingdom of Heaven. Neither would He, when He would talk about the Local Body of Christ or the Bride of Christ or Local Church.

This seems to be a good moment to stop talking about the Local Body of Christ. Some time in the future it would be good to continue, maybe first with the Kingdom of Heaven but then afterwards also with the Bride of Christ. The Local Church and the Local Body of Christ could be quite worth it too but let's not go to wildly in our dreams. What matters first is that I said that it is probably a good moment to stop talking about the Local Body of Christ. Maybe you understand by now that the Local Body of Christ is just a synonym for the Local Church and the Local Bride of Christ. The Kingdom of Heaven could be in a different category. That depends from which perspective you look upon the Kingdom of Heaven.
